The Tax & Customs Board published the figures for the revenues of Estonians in 2008.More than 50% of the active population earns up to EEK 99 999 (6400€) per year which is EEK 6884 (440€) per month Net.
According to the statistics, 26.1% of the employees (183 409 persons) earned up to EEK 49 999 in 2008. That is EEK 4166 Gross per month and EEK 3678 (235€) Net monthly.
19.1% (134 000 persons) earned median revenues: between EEK 100 000 (6410€) and EEK 149 999 (9615€) Net per year.
The average net salary in Estonia in 2008 was EEK 130 000 = 8 300€ per year net
