Registered since 1997 at the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, Tallinn Old Town is from today erased from the list.
Many warnings had been sent to Estonian officials asking to limit the construction around Vana Tallinn and nothing has been done in that way.
The recent work on Vabaduse Valjak signed the end of Tallinn being listed at the UNESCO.
