Gerd Kanter is the Master
Two tries were enough for Gerd Kanter to delete Wolfgang Schmidt from the indoor world record of discus throw yesterday in Växjö, Sweden.
The previous record (66.2 m) was estalished by the German athelete in Berlin in 1980.
The new indoor record is now held by the Estonian Athlete (also Olympic Champion last year) with a performance of 69.51 metres.
